While the organizers strive to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all information, no guarantee or warranty, express or implied, is provided regarding the accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any content, event details, speakers, schedules, awards, exhibitors, sponsors, or associated activities.
Participation in any IISEF event, summit, award program, exhibition, challenge, workshop, competition, or networking activity is voluntary and at the sole discretion of the participant.
The organizers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the event or reliance on information provided through the website or event communications.
Event Modification Policy
IISEF reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, relocate, merge, shorten, extend, or cancel any event, summit, exhibition, challenge, award ceremony, workshop, networking session, or related activity due to operational requirements, government regulations, force majeure events, public safety concerns, natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, speaker availability, venue limitations, technical issues, or any other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Such changes shall not constitute grounds for compensation, damages, reimbursement of travel expenses, accommodation expenses, visa costs, business losses, or any consequential claims.
Venue Change Policy
The organizers reserve the right to change the venue, hall, exhibition area, conference room, seating arrangement, or city of the event whenever required.
Participants, delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and award nominees agree that venue changes may occur without creating any refund obligations beyond what is specifically stated in this policy.
Date Change Policy
Event dates may be revised, postponed, advanced, extended, or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the organizers' control or for operational reasons.
In such cases:
- Registrations shall remain valid for the revised dates.
- No refund shall be applicable solely because of a date change.
- Participants may nominate an alternate representative from the same organization subject to approval.
Speaker, Guest, Jury & Dignitary Policy
The participation of speakers, chief guests, government officials, jury members, award presenters, moderators, panelists, industry leaders, and special invitees is subject to their availability and discretion.
The organizers reserve the right to:
- Add, remove, replace, or modify speakers and guests.
- Change session formats and discussion topics.
- Alter keynote schedules and panel discussions.
No refund or compensation shall be provided due to changes in speakers, guests, moderators, jury members, award presenters, or dignitaries.
Awards Policy
IISEF Awards, STEM Awards, Innovation Awards, Education Awards, Startup Awards, Leadership Awards, and any associated recognition programs are conducted through independent evaluation processes.
Participants acknowledge that:
- Submission of nomination does not guarantee selection, shortlisting, recognition, ranking, or award.
- Decisions of the jury, evaluation committee, and organizers shall be final and binding.
- No correspondence, dispute, appeal, or legal challenge regarding award decisions shall be entertained.
- Organizers reserve the right to withdraw, suspend, merge, modify, or discontinue any award category without prior notice.
- Organizers may revoke awards if misleading, inaccurate, fraudulent, or incomplete information is discovered.
Innovation Challenge, Competition & Hackathon Policy
Participants in innovation challenges, STEM competitions, hackathons, project showcases, startup competitions, and innovation contests agree that:
- All submissions must be original and owned by the participant.
- Participants are responsible for protecting their intellectual property.
- Organizers shall not be responsible for unauthorized use, disclosure, imitation, or replication by third parties.
- The organizers may use submitted content, photographs, abstracts, project descriptions, videos, and competition highlights for promotional purposes.
Exhibition & Exhibitor Policy
Exhibitors agree that:
- Booth allocation shall be determined solely by the organizers.
- Booth location may change due to operational requirements.
- Organizers reserve the right to refuse or cancel participation of any exhibitor whose activities are deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with the objectives of the event.
- Exhibitors are responsible for the safety, transportation, installation, insurance, operation, and removal of their materials.
- Organizers shall not be liable for theft, loss, damage, injury, technical failures, or interruptions affecting exhibitor materials.
- Exhibition fees are non-refundable except where expressly approved by the organizers.
Sponsorship Policy
Sponsorship fees are non-refundable.
In circumstances where event dates, venue, program structure, speaker lineup, exhibition arrangements, or event format changes, sponsorship benefits may be reasonably adjusted at the discretion of the organizers.
Delegate Registration Policy
Registration fees for delegates, visitors, participants, institutions, organizations, students, professionals, and attendees are non-refundable.
If a registered participant is unable to attend:
- A substitute participant may be nominated from the same organization.
- Transfer requests may be considered subject to approval.
Membership & Subscription Policy
Memberships, subscriptions, association fees, accreditation fees, and institutional participation fees are non-refundable.
Any benefits associated with memberships remain subject to prevailing policies and may be modified without prior notice.
Refund Policy
Event Registrations
All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds shall be issued for:
- Non-attendance.
- Travel issues.
- Visa rejection.
- Personal emergencies.
- Scheduling conflicts.
- Speaker changes.
- Venue changes.
- Date changes.
Event Cancellation by Organizers
If an event is completely cancelled without rescheduling, the organizers may:
- Issue a partial or full refund at their discretion; or
- Provide credit toward a future event; or
- Transfer participation to an alternate event.
The organizers' decision shall be final.
Media & Photography Consent
By attending IISEF events, participants grant permission to the organizers to:
- Photograph, record, livestream, and film activities.
- Use names, images, videos, presentations, and testimonials.
- Publish event-related content across websites, media platforms, social media, promotional materials, and future marketing campaigns.
No compensation shall be payable for such use.
Intellectual Property
All event names, logos, trademarks, branding materials, publications, websites, designs, graphics, content, and event-related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of the organizers and associated entities.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation is prohibited.
Force Majeure
The organizers shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, modification, disruption, or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: Natural disasters, Government restrictions, Pandemics, War, Civil unrest, Terrorism, Labor disputes, Transportation disruptions, Utility failures, Technical failures.
Limitation of Liability
The maximum liability of the organizers, if any, shall not exceed the registration fee actually paid by the participant.
Under no circumstances shall the organizers be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, business, reputational, travel-related, accommodation-related, or opportunity-related losses.
Policy Updates
IISEF reserves the right to amend, revise, update, or modify these terms, conditions, policies, and disclaimers at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of the website or participation in the event constitutes acceptance of the revised policies.
